Nicky studied three-dimensional design at Manchester College of Art & Design for four years before continuing with post graduate studies. She worked in publishing and television for many years before becoming a full time artist, illustrator & printmaker. Nicky has illustrated over fifteen books for both children and adults for companies including Walker Books, Frances Lincoln, Oxford University Press and Transworld, as well as regularly contributing to a wide variety of magazines. She is a member of the Association of Illustrators and Oxford Printmakers. She exhibits regularly and her work is in collections in both Europe and America.
