Mini GreyMini writes and illustrates picture books. She has also often been found supply teaching around Oxford. Mini did a degree in English at UCL, then worked as a theatre designer for several years before training to become a teacher. She taught in south London for 6 years, then did an MA at Brighton University in Sequential Illustration. Mini's first book, 'Egg Drop', was published in 2002. Her second picture book, 'The Pea and the Princess', was shortlisted for the 2004 Kate Greenaway awards. Her next book, 'Biscuit Bear' won the Nestle Smarties Gold Award for 2004. Her latest publication is 'Traction Man is Here', which is released in April 2005. Her prints are often connected to stories she is working on. |
